At the Université Clermont Auvergne, international mobility is encouraged at all levels of training.

To encourage international mobility of doctoral students, the Université Clermont Auvergne offers a range of financial support schemes:

• Call for projects « Congrès international » provides flat-rate mobility grants (700€ maximum) to fostera strong participation of the UCA PhD students in international conferences.
• Call for projects « Séjour-recherche des doctorants » provides the UCA PhD students with individual mobility grants to encourage short- (from 5 to 7 days) and medium-term (from 7 to 90 days), European and international research mobilities.
• Call for projects « Jury de thèse international » provides flat-rate mobility grants allowing the participation of foreign jury members at the UCA thesis defence sessions.

PhD students at UCA can also benefit from Erasmus+ Traineeship programme to carry out the projects of international mobility.
